Depression Help

So who is this therapist?
I graduated college in 1980 with a BA in sociology and was ready to pursue my masters in social work after taking some time off, but instead followed a completely different path. I pursued a degree in computer science and engineering. It took me 12 years of working in the field of technology before I returned to my original goal of getting my Masters in Social Work. My passion is helping people who are equally as passionate about trying to find ways to improve their emotional well-being in one way or another.

I gained valuable, practical experience during and after graduate school counseling in a family and children’s agency, a substance abuse treatment center, a family care center and an employee assistance program. I worked with (and continue to work with) primary care physicians and excellent clinical supervisors who helped me gain the skills and expertise to assess and treat depression, relationship problems and much more. Working these positions gave me a wide range of experience with individuals, couples and families with a variety of mental health issues.

I also put my combined computer science and therapy skills together to become a small business coach for people who need help and confidence to learn how to build a profitable small business via the internet. I put my computer training to good use by building websites that allow me to do what I love on a larger scale
